What is Scripture Union?
international charity for over 150 years, sharing the Christian faith
with people of all ages in a lively way through all sorts of activities. Neil Jackson is
Scripture Union's Development Worker for the North East and Yorkshire.
He'll be leading the holiday club. We'll be taking a lively, fresh look at some Bible stories, and we'll be enjoying a lot of fun games and activities together.
Who's on the team of helpers?
from local churches, including members of the team who lead the popular
"Open the Book" assemblies at Saltburn Primary School every Wednesday.
All helpers have enhanced DBS clearance, and several are first-aid
trained. Most are parents / grandparents themselves. Click here for Child Protection / Safeguarding policy.
Why 8s to 11s? I have younger / older children!
Our morning programme is designed specifically for that age range. Slightly older or younger children are still welcome, but we can't cater for all ages. BUT the afternoon activities are for all the family, whatever age, to enjoy together, and children should be accompanied by a responsible adult, arranged by parents / carers.
Why do I need to book?
For legal, safety and child protection reasons we need parents' written consent and certain basic information. We will only use the information you give us in order to run this activity. We will not keep it afterwards, and we will not share it with anyone else.
Must I book in advance?
No. You can come and register your child on the day, BUT advance booking helps us to plan the activities, and it saves queueing up and filling in forms when your child arrives.
